Adrenalin Park, Gold Coast, Australia – Overview:

Adrenalin Park is home to the famous Gold Coast thrill rides: The Sling Shot and Vomatron. These rides are extremely fast-paced, and are similar in design and structure to rides that you would expect to find at any one of the major theme parks.

Originally, the Adrenalin Park was once a lot larger in size (with a number of other rides initially in the park), however, in recent years the park has been scaled back to a putt-putt mini golf course, and the two thrill rides. The rides are not for the feint hearted, incorporating excessive speeds and dizzying heights.

The Sling Shot catapults its riders over 80 metres into the air at speeds of 160km/hr – the experience of 6Gs of force is apparent instantly. The Vomatron propels riders in a circular motion at 120km/h, exerting 4Gs of force on its occupants. At the top of the Vomatron’s arc, riders will get to experience the views of the Gold Coast from the end of the ride’s impressive 45 metre arm!
