Kids’ WB! Fun Zone:

Themed around the ever popular Looney Tunes characters, The Kids WB! Fun Zone at Movie World is home to a number of enjoyable and entertaining rides, including:

à Tweety & Sylvester Cages (pictured left);

à The Looney Tunes Carousel;

à Taz’s Hollywood Cars;

à Yosemite Sam’s Railroad;

à Sylvester’s Bounce‘n’Pounce;

à The Looney Tunes River Ride; and

à Marvin the Martian's Rocket Ride.

The Kids’ WB! Fun Zone is frequented by the Looney Tunes characters, who can also seen throughout Movie World at various times during the day.

Road Runner Rollercoaster:

Another great addition to the Kids WB! Fun Zone is the Road Runner Rollercoaster.

Offering kids a chance to experience the excitement of a rollercoaster (without the extreme elements of the larger thrill rides), this ride is a definite favourite with the kids.

Height Restrictions: 100cm minimum (Riders between 100 cm and 120 cm must ride with an adult).

Thrill rating: Moderate

Looney Tunes & Movie Characters:

Movie World is home to some of the most popular cartoon and movie characters of all time.

From the popular Looney Tunes characters to superheroes like Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, guests will find them all at Warner Bros Movie World.

The Star Parade is held everyday in the main street of Movie World, which gives guests an opportunity to see their favourite movie characters up close.

MOVIE WORLD’S FAMILY RIDES & ATTRACTIONS:

Wild West Falls Adventure Ride:

Movie World’s Wild West Falls Adventure Ride is arguably the best flume ride on offer from the Gold Coast Theme Parks.

The ride takes you through the heart of the Wild West mountain, and on a journey through the sights and sounds of the old west.

The final 20 metre fall at 70km/h is a distinct highlight of this ride. A great ride for the whole family.

Riders per flume: 8 people

Height Restrictions: 95cm minimum (Riders between 95 cm and 120 cm must ride with an adult).

Thrill rating: Moderate

Hollywood Stunt Driver:

An action-packed car stunt show, with all the makings of a Hollywood blockbuster.

Experience the speed and the exceptional talent of some of the best precision drivers you will see.

The show is held twice daily in the purpose built arena located at the end of Movie World’s main street.

Hollywood Stunt Driver is a definite highlight and a must-see attraction at Movie World.

MOVIE WORLD’S THRILL RIDES:

Batman Adventure The Ride 2:

Incorporating spectacular computer generated technology and animation, Batman Adventure - The Ride 2 is the ultimate simulation ride experience. Riders will experience life in Gotham City, and take on Batman’s archenemies: The Joker, Mr Freeze and Catwoman.

Height Restrictions: 102cm minimum

NB – For guests with height restrictions or medical conditions, a motionless ride is available.

Thrill rating: Moderate

Lethal Weapon The Ride:

Movie World’s Lethal Weapon is a fast-paced suspended rollercoaster reaching speeds up to 85 km/h.

With a 765-metre track of twists and turns, loops and dives, riders will experience the force of 4Gs!

Minimum height requirement: 140cm

Maximum height restriction: 200cm

Thrill rating: Extreme

Batwing Spaceshot:

The Batwing Spaceshot is a vertical track speed coaster, located near the Batman Adventure 2 ride, at the entrance to the Movie World theme park.

Launching its riders up the 60 metre vertical track at 4.5Gs, it offers an adrenalin filled ride for the thrill seekers in the family.

Tower Height: 60 metres

Height Restrictions: 123cm minimum

Riders per ride: 16 people (4 per side)

Thrill rating: Extreme

Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster:

The Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster incorporates all the elements of a great indoor rollercoaster.

Through the use of laser lighting and special effects (in conjunction with speed and darkness), the Spooky Coaster offers a fun-filled adventure, taking its riders through the heart of the Scooby-Doo castle.

The Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster was inspired by the 2002 feature film that was filmed at the Movie World studios.

Superman Escape:

The Superman Escape ride at Movie World is one of the best rollercoasters on offer at any of the Gold Coast theme parks.

With pre-ride entertainment themed on the famous Superman movies, this ride has a lot on offer for its riders.

The Superman Escape rollercoaster is for those who enjoy fast-paced thrill rides – and those who don’t fear being taken from 0 to 100km/h in just 2 seconds!

Movie World’s Superman Escape is definitely not one for the feint hearted.
